1) What age groups are these books designed for?
Passport Pals books come in two age ranges :ages 5–8 and ages 9–12.
Each version is carefully designed for age-appropriate reading, problem-solving, and creativity—so younger kids can color, draw, and play, while older kids can read, learn, and think critically about their travels.
2) What's inside the book? What kind of activities and content?
Each book is packed with fun, screen-free activities that connect kids to their destination. You’ll find puzzles, mazes, drawing prompts, language basics, local food facts, wildlife spotting games, sightseeing checklists, and more—all inspired by real places, people, and culture.
Every activity helps kids engage deeply with their surroundings and create lasting travel memories.
3) How are the books tailored to a specific destination?
Every Passport Pals title is designed around a real location, from cities to national parks to countries abroad. We include local history, cultural touchpoints, geography, and even regional wildlife or foods unique to that destination.
Each book also features a custom Passport Pal character—a friendly guide that introduces children to the spirit of the place.
4) What kind of materials or tools do kids need?
All you need are basic art supplies—like colored pencils, crayons, or markers—and a pencil or pen for writing and puzzles. A small travel sharpener is handy for long trips.
The books are designed to be self-contained, light to pack, and easy to use anywhere—on planes, trains, road trips, or at the hotel.
5) How long will the book keep a child engaged (on a trip or at home)?
Most kids enjoy their Passport Pals book over the entire course of a trip—and often beyond! Depending on your child’s age and interest, each book provides hours of creative, educational fun.
They will enjoy a mix of quick games and longer activities that can fill travel downtime or rainy afternoons.
6) When will my order ship and how long until it arrives?
All Passport Pals books are printed and shipped on demand through our trusted publishing partner. Typical delivery times include order processing, printing, and shipping and usually arrive to your door between 5 – 10 business days (standard shipping).
7) What if I’m traveling soon — can I get it in time?
Yes! Expedited and express shipping options are available through Lulu.com. When checking out, simply select your preferred delivery speed to ensure your books arrive before your departure.
We recommend ordering at least two weeks before travel when possible.
8) What’s the return / refund policy?
Because each book is custom printed just for you, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges.
However, if there’s any issue with your order—such as printing errors or damage during shipping—please reach out to us right away. We’ll make it right and ensure you’re fully satisfied with your experience.
9) Do you offer international shipping?
